Today we demand that our politicians take our HUMAN RIGHTS seriously!
STOP EXCLUSIONARY POLITICS!
Today we remember all those we have lost since the 80s as a result of the AIDS epidemic.
Today we remember Stonewall and what we have achieved and what is therefore at stake.
Today we celebrate that we are many and that we are stronger through our connections.
Dearly beloved, we are here to BURRY THE CIS-tem!
And therefore we need to lay to rest:
The rainbow capitalism that never was our ally!
The stigma that wants to prevent us from being human and living the way we want to!
And the outdated conventions that want to take away our hard-fought freedoms again!
THIS IS WHAT Berlin PRIDE 2025 is about!
To all my fellow queers here in Berlin and around the world! To my brave transTrans (short for transgender or transident) describes people whose gender identity does not match the gender they are assigned. Mehr siblings:
You are never too much.
You are always enough.
You are loved.
You are cherished.
You deserve respect.
You deserve love.
You deserve solidarity.
You deserve community.
You deserve humanity.
You deserve human rights.
You are the world!

Please FEEL!
Feel compassion; feel the connections to fellow humans. But also feel the
pain, the hurt, and the frustration, and channel it.
Organise, be loud, demand change!
Use your feelings as a catalyst for change!
Don't get numb, don't look away, and don't falter and hide! Feel something,
open up, and let us make the promise to face each other with dignity.
We are all humans, and we need to allow ourselves to feel again.
FEEL and CARE!
Making society sustainable means CARING even if you may not be directly affected. It means caring and loving with our differences and with everything we share.
Which will always be more than what divides us!
Community means caring for each other, easing each other's suffering, making participation accessible, and realising potentials in us and each other!
SO PLEASE CARE!
Denying certain groups of people human rights is denying rights for all of us!
Never forget where we came from. Never forget that silence equals death.
Dehumanising people who are facing discrimination and severe disadvantages always hurts all of us! We know where this road will lead us to! HUMAN RIGHTS negotionable. They apply to ALL HUMANS, everywhere!
We faught kings, we faught dictators and we will fight this!
The REVOLUTION starts with us! We all need to be part of the change we are demanding!
And we must never forget what came before!

Mehr ancestors who led us with valiant courage and inspiring determination risen out of oppression.
Their stories are our survival guide!
Their stories define our resistance!
It is our responsibility to protect what they started and keep their struggles alive. It is our duty to honour the way they paved and to fight erasure, resist oppression, and be visible!
For the sake of survival, for the right to pursue the lives we want to live, and for the promise of universal human rights!
FOR ALL OF US!!!
Our rights mean nothing if they don't apply to every human!
No one is free until we all are!
SO let's free ourselves!

QueerQueer is a collective term for people whose sexual orientation or gender identity does not conform to the social norm of "heterosexuality". Mehr liberation means freeing ourselves from our oppressors. Fight the system not each other!
But I also want to remind you, my fellow queers, of the following:
Your presence is a sign of strength, bravery, and resistance.
This means everything.
This is powerful.
This is resilience!
But resilience also needs protection. We need to protect each other,
ourselves and our rights!
I am so proud that you are here! This is RESISTANCE!

Be outrageous, Be angry, Be fierce, Be unconditional in your demands! The
road to facism is lined with people telling you to stop overreacting -
SO OVERREACT!
I know it's not always easy, no, it is hard. At the end oft he day it hurts but you have no other choice. I have no other choice. We have no other choice!
Because if you think, your silence will save you. It won't.
If you think dimming down your light will safe you. It won't.
If you think appeasing your oppressors will keep you safe. It won't.
If you think throwing other people - marginalised groups - under the bus will save you. It won't
IF YOU THINK YOUR SILENCE WILL SAVE YOU. IT WON'T!
There is no safety in silence.
Silence equals death - Always has, always will.
WE HAVE TO STAY LOUD. TODAY AND EVERY DAY!
