Documentation of the Safer Sex 3.0 symposium

The documentation of the symposium "Safer sex 3.0“ brings together current discussions, experiences and positions on HIV prevention today. The focus is on the three equally important ways of protecting against HIV: condoms, PrEP and protection through therapy.

Contributions from lectures, workshops and discussions show how prevention has changed, what challenges there are in counselling, communication and care and how different target groups can be better reached. The publication is aimed at professionals in prevention, counselling, medicine and community work as well as anyone who would like to take a closer look at contemporary HIV prevention.

Sex has many reasons - lust, closeness, curiosity or affirmation. If you would like to find out more about the motives and meanings of sex, read the article "Why do we actually have sex?".
