Lets talk about sex reloaded

This leaflet contains information on the training programme of the „Lets talk about Sex“ project of the German AIDS Service Organisation. The aim of the project is to improve communication about sexuality in medical practice. It is aimed at doctors from all relevant specialities as well as practice teams and all their staff.

In our workshop, we would like to train you as a team to address topics such as sexuality, gender diversity and sexual health in a linguistic, competent and safe manner.

The project aims to impart up-to-date knowledge, improve the quality of communication about HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the healthcare sector and enable people to deal competently with topics such as sexuality, gender diversity and sexual health.

It is also about breaking down prejudices and imparting knowledge about the living environments of people who have an increased risk of becoming infected with HIV or another STI.

This project is a cooperation between Deutsche Aidshilfe (DAH), the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) and the Private Health Insurance (PKV), in collaboration with dagnä, DAIG, DSTIG and the HIV/AIDS Competence Network.

The workshops are free of charge for the participants and the organisers.

Sex has many reasons - lust, closeness, curiosity or affirmation. If you would like to find out more about the motives and meanings of sex, read the article "Why do we actually have sex?".
