Dr Andreas Bellmunt therefore advises passive men to have regular proctological examinations. It's up to each man to decide how often. If you always use condoms, an annual check-up may be enough. Those who change sexual partners frequently, on the other hand, are better off making an appointment every six months. "Some of my patients even come every three months of their own accord," reports the Dortmund doctor. "They probably know why ..."
